
Grinnell Regional Medical Center recently made a change in the company we are using to help us with patient bills. The reason for the change was to improve patient satisfaction with the billing and collection process. We asked our new billing company, First Party Receivables Solution, to consolidate individual patient bills and send them in one statement per patient. Unfortunately, that did not happen and some patients received duplicate bills for the same service while others received multiple statements in the mail on the same day.
At GRMC, we take pride in providing quality services to our patients. Our commitment to quality includes providing you with billing information you can trust and customer service you can rely on. First Party will be sending a note of apology to all those patients this affected. Please be assured that the cost for First Party's mistake is not being passed on to GRMC or to you. First Party will cover the costs associated with these errors.
Despite this human error, we have full confidence in First Party and that this will be resolved to everyone's satisfaction.
