Grinnell Regional Medical Center’s Office of Communication and Development has won two Healthcare Advertising Awards, as well as the APEX Award for Publication Excellence.
The Healthcare Advertising Awards are sponsored by Healthcare Marketing Report, the leading publication covering all aspects of healthcare marketing, advertising, and strategic business development. The Healthcare Advertising Awards is the oldest, largest, and most widely respected healthcare advertising awards competition.
Annually, a national panel of judges reviews entries; 2017 is the 34th Annual Healthcare Advertising Awards. GRMC earned a merit award in the category of Magazine Advertising Single Ad for ‘Grinnell Bariatrics’ and a merit award in the category of Publication External for the GRMC Healthletter. Entries are judged on creativity, quality, message effectiveness, consumer appeal, graphic design, and overall impact.
The APEX Awards is an annual competition for publishers, editors, writers and designers who create print, Web, electronic and social media. Business, nonprofit, agency and freelance communicators can enter APEX to win awards for their best writing, publications, campaigns, programs, design and media. This was the 29th year for the APEX Awards.
GRMC’s graphic designer, Jen Hawkins, received an award for publication excellence in the area of design and illustration, specifically print ads, for ‘Grinnell Bariatrics.’
“GRMC’s creative team works well to share the hospital’s mission with our patients and their families. These awards affirm the talents and hard work of this incredibly talented team,” says Denise Lamphier, GRMC director of communications and development.
