Acupuncture
Acupuncture is one of the oldest, most commonly used medical treatments in the world. It is believed to have originated in China more than 2,000 years ago. Research shows that acupuncture is beneficial in treating a variety of health conditions in the body. The most common use of acupuncture in the United States is pain control. It has found usefulness in both acute and chronic pain conditions. Acupuncture may be appropriate for many other conditions, including digestive problems, emotional problems, gynecological problems, respiratory problems, and others.
Treatment sessions with GRMC’s medical acupuncturist normally last about an hour.
