Family and Friends CPR
Dates: Saturday, January 19 • Saturday, March 16 • Saturday, May 18 • Saturday, July 20
• Saturday, September 21 • Saturday, November 16
Time: 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
Location: East Tomasek Conference Room
Cost: $5 per person, payable on the day of class
The Family & Friends CPR Course teaches the lifesaving skills of adult Hands-Only® CPR, child CPR with breaths, adult and child AED use, infant CPR and relief of choking in an adult, child or infant. Skills are taught in a dynamic group environment by using the AHA’s research-proven practice-while-watching technique, which provides students with the most hands-on CPR practice time possible.
Family & Friends CPR is for people who want to learn CPR but do not need a course completion card in CPR for their job. This course is ideal for new parents, grandparents, babysitters and others interested in learning how to save a life.

The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in BLS, ACLS, and PALS and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association. Any fees charged for such a course, except for a portion of fees needed for AHA course materials, do not represent income to the association.

Prenatal/Childbirth Classes
Evening Classes: 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm in West Tomasek To complete an evening prenatal/childbrith class, one must attend all three evening sessions during that month.

Better Choices - Better Health
Better Choices – Better Health workshops provide individuals who have chronic conditions and their caregivers the tools to manage their health and symptoms better. The program guides participants through discussions so you can take an active role in managing your health.
Workshop Class: Mondays 2-4:30 p.m. Workshop Classes will run once a week for six weeks.
Location: Tomasek Conference Room
Fee: $20, covers the cost of book and materials. Scholarships are available.
